In 2023, I set out with my camera to take pictures of the Aran Islands—Inis Mór, Inis Meáin, and Inis Oírr—rising from the wild Atlantic off the coast of Connemara. These islands are a world apart, where dramatic limestone landscapes meet the endless sky, and every stone wall tells a story of resilience and tradition. Walking these windswept shores, I was captivated by the ancient stone forts, the raw beauty of the land, and the living heritage of the Irish language spoken daily.
