Kerry Photography Collection

One of my favourite places to take landscape photos of Ireland is in Kerry, especially around the Dingle peninsula, Slea Head and Coumeenole Beach. Kerry is home to many magical places, including Killarney Lakes and the famous Skellig Islands, near its beautiful Wild Atlantic coastline. National Geographic once described Dingle, County Kerry, as the most beautiful place on Earth and certainly ranks up for the natural landscapes and seascape views. So it is well known as one of Ireland’s must-visit areas, and any that do certainly are enchanted by its wild and wonderful charms. The featured image above was taken on one of those stunning Irish evenings as the sun was going down over the velvet wash of the Atlantic Ocean with Coumeenole in the foreground and Slea Head in the Mid ground, and the Blasket Islands behind. The opportunity of capturing an unforgettable image presented itself. I did my best to shield the light from flaring the image, and my version of what was presented that day was instilled in the camera.
