Being a fine art photographer is a privilege and a statement of gratitude for the world around me. It somehow gives a healthy sense of able to be present in the moment and being fulfilled in the now. When looking through the lens I am transported into the scene and I become less me and more the scene, this is when the magic really happens as the heart and head align as one to a frequency of gratefulness and acceptance. Closely linked to the law of attraction this feeling is void of ‘lack or attachment’ to any particular outcome and seems to allow the scene to respond accordingly in a balance of nature that has some depth of meaning found within the physical particles reflected down the camera lens. I have found that there are many lessons in life to be learned through the image making process that being a landscape and documentary photographer allow me to discover and learn, it works the very same in life as we pursue our goals and desires. Good luck to all up and coming photographers in pursuit of sharing a unique vision that can I think really make a difference to peoples perceptions and quality of living.
